We have created a variety of educational resources to raise awareness of the cause and effects of poor waste management, and encourage Capetonians to reduce, reuse and recycle their waste. All of our resources are available to download and use offline, and range from graphic posters and infographics to booklets and pamphlets.

For the City to operate landfills legally, we need to adhere to strict rules that protect the health of the environment and surrounding communities. One of these rules is to maintain a buffer zone around the landfill site where no development is allowed.
